Fabian Michelangeli: Born and raised in Venezuela now splitting his time between Southern Florida and New York, when he is not in expeditions, self-assigned photography projects or conducting workshops in diverse corners of the planet. Originally a medical doctor, he has dedicated his life to biomedical research in his native Venezuela. Self-taught photographer with 40+ years of experience with special interest in wildlife, landscape and travel photography. His photographs have been published in international magazines (National Geographic, Geo, Terre Savage, Outdoor Photographer, New Scientist, Natural History) and over twenty corporate and self-published books, most of them on Venezuelan and African Nature. He regularly conducts photography workshops in Venezuela, USA and Africa.
